CEO of Ustream Discusses the Sony PlayStation 4, Turning Gamers Into Broadcasters: Let the games begin
Did you watch the passing of Asteroid 2012 DA14 near Earth last week? Many did—and not just on television. Over eight million people watched it live on Ustream, a video streaming service. That’s more than CNN, MSN, and Fox News combined.
I just came back from liveblogging the PlayStation 4 event, and boy, my fingers are tired. We saw some pretty spectacular clips of upcoming titles and learned a bit about the new console. But for all we learned about the next generation of Sony’s game console, we still have a few unanswered questions.
Tonight Sony will be holding an event here in New York City called “PlayStation 2013,” known to the rest of the world as “the reveal of the PlayStation 4.” I expect we’ll be learning everything there is to know about the new-gen console, and I expect it will be awesome.
