Emilia Clarke, the charismatic Game of Thrones actress who plays Daenerys Targaryen, the khaleesi who would be queen, recently made a guest appearance on The Jimmy Kimmel Show. Clarke didn’t spoil any happenings about the show—to be fair, you have only to read the Song of Ice and Fire series to see what happens next—but she did reveal a few interesting facts about her life.
I’ll let her tell you the stories in the short clips, below (which run a total of seven minutes and are worth any Clarke/Dany fan’s time). But here are the four things that I found most interesting.
– Game of Thrones is Clarke’s first real acting job.
– You can see Clarke on Broadway as of February 2013, where she’ll be starring as Holly Golightly in Breakfast at Tiffany’s.
– She got herself stuck to a toilet, courtesy of the tacky blood in the famed heart-eating scene (season 1, episode 6, “A Golden Crown”).
And most entertainingly of all,
– She was punched by a Vietnamese hooker.
Check it out.
