Did you think The Hunger Games was slightly confusing? I didn’t, but a friend of mine sure did. I had read the book, so my mind filled in the gaps that the movie had left. And there were quite a few gaps, as CinemaSins has pointed out in their latest video.
The people who brought you “Everything Wrong with Prometheus” and “The Dark Knight Rises” are back, and this time, they’re using their snark on The Hunger Games.
CinemaSins has proved yet again that some viewers of the movie were at a loss for not reading the book. For example, readers would know that entering your name into the Reaping multiple times meant receiving extra grain and oil. It also meant you had a greater chance of being chosen to participate in the Hunger Games.
So check out the video and see if you had any of the same concerns as CinemaSins. Except for the reference herpes. I never noticed that until just now.
