There’s a reason that Google bought YouTube for $1.65 billion: it’s addictively entertaining for viewers and content creators alike. While some of these content creators upload new footage, many of them like to play with footage that already exists. Some of that footage gets blended together, or mashed-up, a remix of sound and visuals that combine their favorite shows and make it something new. Some mashups are more clever than others. But few are as ear-catching is this one.
YouTuber AltDelete plays the theme song of Downton Abbey and The X-Files for us individually, then overlaps them. The result is fabulous and fun.
