For some, The Princess Bride is one of the best fantasy films every made. The American Film Institute ranked it at 88 the list of 100 great love stories, while Rotten Tomatoes has given it a score of 97%. I adored the film, don’t get me wrong. But the book by William Goldman was so much better.
